Safety Guidelines

Below are some guidelines and recommendations for the health and safety of people visiting or hosting at one of the two locations of the INAF – Osservatorio Astronomico di Cagliari:
1. Selargius, via della Scienza 5 Loc. Cuccuru Angius: Observatory headquarters
2. San Basilio, Loc. Pranu Sanguni: Sardinia Radio Telescope headquarters
It is recommended to inform your guide/contact person of any physical or psychological conditions that may compromise health, safety, or normal attendance in areas with particular risks, as well as any emergency and first aid intervention activities. For example, but not limited to, we advise reporting: any allergies; claustrophobia or acrophobia syndromes; any needs in case of loss of consciousness or mobility control (e.g., epilepsy); risks from
insect stings; any access limitations to specific areas (e.g., for pacemaker users, those with favism, etc.) and anything else deemed necessary.
