Accessible Planetarium: Social Stories

To make our Planetarium shows as accessible as possible, we have recently started a collaboration with Professor Marco Pontis, a Lecturer in Special Education and Didactics for Intellectual Disabilities and Pervasive Developmental Disorders at the University of Bolzano and author of several books on Special Educational Needs (SEN) and Autism Spectrum Disorders.

Thanks to this collaboration, we are implementing the use of Social Stories, an evidence-based tool introduced by Carol Gray in the early 90s to work with people with autism spectrum disorders (for a detailed description, see the official Social Stories page).

On this page, you can consult the basic Social Story document for the OAC Planetarium.
