The European Researchers’ Night is an initiative that takes place simultaneously every year across Europe on the last Friday of September. Its aim is to connect the world of research with the general public of all ages through meetings, guided tours, shows, and activities for children.
An important opportunity to showcase the new frontiers of science and to encourage dialogue with the general public, an initiative that has seen growing success in recent years, involving thousands of people across Italy on major research and future topics.
The Astronomical Observatory of Cagliari also participates in the event with a series of activities, all free of charge, to promote astronomical culture and research.
The European Researchers’ Night event will offer visitors the chance to preview the new facilities of the INAF-Cagliari Astronomical Observatory, created within the Program Agreement between the Autonomous Region of Sardinia and INAF (RAS-INAF).
