As part of a series of initiatives planned to celebrate and honor the scientific legacy of Professor Nichi D’Amico, we are organizing a major conference on pulsars in Sardinia: Pulsar 2025.
The conference, which will be held in Geremeas from September 22 to 26, 2025, coincides with the fifth anniversary of Professor D’Amico’s passing and marks fifteen years since the pulsar congress he organized on the island in 2010.
With the intent to reflect the many interests and scientific passion of Professor D’Amico, the conference will cover multiple aspects of modern pulsar science. This event will bring to Sardinia the leading experts in the field who will discuss the latest developments in this important research area – which already boasts two Nobel Prizes – in memory of Nichi D’Amico.
