The spectacular alignment of planets gracing the dawn sky continues to amaze (pictured: the dawn sky on January 30, 2016) and will “hold on” until nearly mid-February.

For this reason, INAF has decided to launch a fun “contest” (photographic, but not only) open to everyone, from professional photographers to elementary school students.

On the dedicated site, you can upload both photos and drawings of this fascinating and unusually long-lasting celestial phenomenon.

Aspiring photographers will need to follow just two conditions: wake up early and don’t forget a device to take pictures.

What type of camera is best to use?

Will a smartphone be enough?

And for those with a DSLR, what shutter speeds, apertures, and ISO settings are recommended?

You can find clear and precise answers to all these questions in the special interview with astrophotographer Matteo Dunchi, a true expert in the field.

You’ll find all the references on Media INAF.

Have fun!
