The list of those admitted to the national phase of the Italian Astronomy Olympiad has been published, which will take place in Syracuse from April 12 to 14 and will see students from all over the country compete, divided into Junior and Senior categories.
For Sardinia, Emanuela Gamboni from the Scientific High School E. Lussu in Sant’Antioco achieved the highest score among Sardinian participants in the interregional competition on February 17, thus qualifying for the nationals in the Senior category and repeating last year’s success.
Many congratulations to Emanuela for her achievement and the dedication with which she approached the preparation and the competition itself.
But congratulations for their performance and the effort they put in also go to the other two students who participated in the interregional competition, Marcello Marcello from the Scientific High School Michelangelo in Cagliari, and Daniele Spano from the Scientific High School G. Marconi in Sassari, to whom we wish all the best for what will surely be a brilliant continuation of their academic careers.
We certainly hope it was a great experience for everyone and that the students can make the most of what they have learned for the future.
While waiting for the final, we extend more congratulations to Emanuela and… a big good luck!
