Modern CMB experiments now survey large areas of the sky with unmatched resolution and sensitivity. These data yield more precise powerspectrum measurements and enable new cosmological probes via crosscorrelation analyses with galaxy surveys. I will review the current status of the CMB field, highlight the science unlocked by crosscorrelations, present some examples including the first detection of the movinglens effect, and discuss projected results from the Simons Observatory.
