Anagrafica Professionale
With a degree and PhD in Physics from the University of Cagliari, she is a researcher in the Astrobiology and Astrochemistry group at INAF-Osservatorio Astronomico di Cagliari.
She focuses on studies of interstellar dust, molecular excitation, and interstellar chemistry models.
She is currently part of the operational team of the Sardinia Radio Telescope (SRT) and was part of the SRT scientific validation team from 2013 to 2016. She is the author of scientific articles in international peer-reviewed journals.
Since April 2011, she has been the Head of the Outreach and Education Area at INAF-Osservatorio Astronomico di Cagliari and the outreach activities of SRT. She develops educational activities for schools of all levels, coordinates the management of outreach events, and oversees the public installations (Planetarium, Museum, Auditorium, Educational Room) at the new INAF-OAC headquarters.
Since 2015, she has been formally responsible for the Macro WP Outreach of SRT, coordinating public activities, communication management with the community, and setting up public spaces (Visitor Centre).
Since May 2016, she has been part of the Education and Outreach working group of the INAF Communication Office, under the responsibility of Dr. Stefano Sandrelli. She focuses on new forms of education, with particular attention to new technologies and inclusive education.
