Master’s Degree in Physics (UniCa), and PhD in Physics (UniFe), he is a Fixed-Term Researcher in the Solar Physics group (SunDish and Solaris projects) at INAF-OAC.

He primarily focuses on monitoring the solar atmosphere in the radio band (from 18-26 GHz) through single-dish observations, and on ROACH spectroscopy for the identification of solar gyro-resonance emission lines. As coordinator and head of scientific data analysis software development for SunDish and Solaris, he develops and updates several Python software for the automated reduction and analysis of solar data.

He collaborates externally with the research group of the Physics Department at UniFe on the study of Gamma-Ray Bursts, specifically for the multi-frequency analysis of afterglow emission.

He is currently part of the SRT operational team, with increased activity within Macro Work Packages 8 (Single Dish Observational Activities) and 9 (VLBI Observational Activities).

In the field of Outreach and Education, he is responsible for the interregional Sardinia office for the organization of  Campionati Italiani di Astronomia, is a member of the SRT guide team for guided tours, and is among the organizers of the shows at the OAC Planetarium.
