With the launch of Early Science, it became necessary to find a solution for saving observational data from various projects and to provide PIs with a tool for accessing their data offline.
A data storage architecture was therefore set up with a data backup script and provisions for physical and geographical data redundancy.
A portal was created for data access, with login credentials, parameter-based search, and file download.
The portal is available to PIs and accessible via the Internet.

Today, Astro Chiacchiere! is an informal meeting among the staff of the Cagliari Astronomical Observatory (staff, postdocs, and students), aimed at discussing topics mainly of a scientific, technological, and informational nature about the Observatory’s activities. The meeting usually takes place on Tuesdays at 11:30 AM in the Auditorium of the Cagliari Astronomical Observatory.
