Presentation and preliminary discussion on the receiver survey work

During the astro-chat, the results of the survey commissioned by Scientific Unit II (Radio Astronomy) of the INAF will be presented and discussed. This survey led to the drafting of a document entitled:
‘RECEIVERS FOR RADIOASTRONOMY: CURRENT STATUS AND FUTURE DEVELOPMENTS AT THE ITALIAN RADIO TELESCOPES’. The document, which will be distributed the week before the astro-chat, will be discussed during the workshop scheduled for 21 March at the INAF headquarters in Rome. The meeting will be an opportunity to discuss and share a common position on the subject within the OAC.

Today, Astro Chiacchiere! is an informal meeting between the staff of the Cagliari Astronomical Observatory (staff, postdocs and students), which aims to discuss topics of a mainly scientific, technological and informative nature concerning the activities of the Observatory. The meeting is usually held on Tuesdays at 11:30 a.m. in the Auditorium of the Cagliari Astronomical Observatory.
