Perfect timing – Of Fulbright, Caltech, Earthquakes, Kindergartens, Giant Sequoias, Satellites and Ultraluminous Pulsars

I will tell you about my 9 months at Caltech as a Fulbright scholar, shared with my family. I will summarize the main scientific results of my work there, including two papers in preparation, but also tell about our total immersion in the American society, with many lessons learned.

Today Astro Chats! is an informal meeting among the staff of the Cagliari Astronomical Observatory (staff, postdocs, and students), aimed at discussing topics mainly of a scientific, technological, and informative nature regarding the Observatory’s activities.
