Inspiring Stars: Astronomy for a Better World

Inspiring stars is a traveling and constantly evolving exhibition promoted by the International Astronomical Union (IAU) as part of its centennial celebrations. It is a collaborative project that gathers experiences, activities, and exhibits dedicated to valuing diversity and promoting the use of astronomy to foster inclusion and equity.
In Italy since February, it was brought to Cagliari for the Alma Conference 2019 (October 14-18, 2019).

Today Astro Chats! is an informal meeting among the staff of the Cagliari Astronomical Observatory (staff, postdocs, and students), aimed at discussing topics mainly of a scientific, technological, and informative nature regarding the Observatory’s activities. The meeting is usually held on Tuesday at 11:30 AM in the Auditorium of the Cagliari Astronomical Observatory.
