Ricercatore nel gruppo di Fisica del mezzo interstellare e Formazione stellare Research interests: My scientific activities are related to the formation and early evolution of massive young stellar objects and proto-clusters in our Galaxy; I am also interested to investigate the impact of massive young stellar objects and proto-cluster on their natal environment. My activity focuses primarily on providing observational constraints and tests to theories and models of star formation at wavelengths from the radio to the far-IR. Research positions: Previously, I was an astronomer at the Max Planck Institut für Radioastronomie in Bonn working in the Millimeter and Submillimeter group and before that an ESO-ALMA fellow based in Garching. I obtained my PhD in 2004 from the University of Bonn, working with Prof. K. Menten and Prof. P. Schilke on "Methanol: a diagnostic tool for star formation".
