Master Degree and Ph.D. in Physics (University of Cagliari, Italy), she is a researcher in the group of Astrochemistry and AstroBiology at the INAF-Osservatorio Astronomico di Cagliari.
She works on interstellar dust, molecular excitation and interstellar chemistry models.
She is currently part of the Sardinia Radio Telescope (SRT) operational team, and has been part of the SRT scientific validation team in the period 2013-2016. She is author of scientific articles in peer reviewed international journals.

Since April 2011 she has been Head of the Publi Outreach and Didactic Area of ​​ the INAF-Cagliari Astronomical Observatory and of the outreach activities of SRT. She works at the development of teaching activities for schools of any levels, coordinates the management of public events, coordinates and manages the equipments of public displays (Planetarium, Museum, Auditorium, Classroom) inside the new headquarters of the INAF-OAC.
Since 2015 she is formally responsible for SRT's Macro WP "Outreach", for which she coordinates the activity targeted to the public, the management of communication to the territory, the preparation of spaces for the public (Visitor Center).
Since May 2016 she has been a member of the Teaching and Dissemination working group of the INAF Communication Office, a Presidency structure, under the responsibility of dr. Stefano Sandrelli. She deals with new forms of teaching, with particular regard to new technologies and inclusive education.
