The Library is open two days a week (variable) from h. 11:00 am 6pm.

Access to the Library and the loan and/or consultation of books is permitted to all staff of the Astronomical Observatory of Cagliari, to the various University Institutes and Research Institutions, to doctoral students, to scholarship holders and to contractors. Lending is not permitted to unauthorized personnel.

Before consulting or borrowing a book, make a request to the Library Manager.

Books on loan must remain within the Observatory structure.

The magazines CANNOT be borrowed but only consulted within the Library.

Anyone who is borrowing a book that they have finished reading CANNOT pass it on to another user who requests it.

Staff can propose the purchase of new books by sending a request email to the Library. Doctoral students, scholarship holders and research fellows can refer to their manager.

The loan is granted for a maximum of 5 works for up to 90 days with the possibility of renewal for another 30 days.
