Per una fisica del tempo

Per una fisica del tempo

Time in Physics has always been neglected, if not denied. This has often generated problems of understanding or has conducted the research towards dead-end directions. The problem got worse when an attempt to develop a theory of quantum gravity was made and this crisis is more alive today than ever. I don't have a recipe to propose for overcoming this impasse, but in this seminar I would like to try to show a different way of seeing the classical, the quantum and the relativistic physics when time is no longer neglected. In particular, I would like to point out that considering the time as a cut, rather than a duration, could open up new research perspectives.

Brief CV of Dr. Luigi Foschini:

Luigi Foschini is a researcher at the INAF- Osservatorio Astronomico di Brera. His research is focused on Active Galactic Nuclei (AGNs) with relativistic jets, Land on fundamental physics, in particular on Physics of Time.
