In particular, I will present deep MeerKAT observations for a complete sample of massive (a few times 10 to 14 Solar masses) clusters at z~1.5 that are ICM selected from the SPT-SZ survey. The radio continuum data are unique tools to probe dust-unbiased star formation and nuclear activity in these high-redshift environments, across the cluster virial volume and into the infall region. Finally, I will show how this data can also be used, in a novel way, to study the impact of the cluster environments on their galaxy populations.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong> Dr. Maurillo Pannella, Osservatorio Astronomico di Trieste (OATs, INAF) <\/strong><\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">After receiving his PhD degree in 2007 at the MPE-Garching (optical\/NIR imaging, HST deep fields, galaxy morphological evolution over cosmic time), he firstly moved to the NRAO in Socorro from 2007 to 2010 (radio continuum deep surveys &#8211; COSMOS, Lockman Hole, star formation and dust attenuation in high redshift galaxies), then to the CEA Saclay between 2010 and 2014 (deep Herschel fields, radio-IR correlation, Main Sequence of star-forming galaxies up to high redshift) and finally to Munich LMU from 2015 to 2019 (D-MeerKAT collaboration, galaxy evolution in SZ selected clusters).
