With the launch of the agreement between CINECA and INAF, and the release of the call for requests for (super)computing time, the possibility of obtaining respectable resources in a relatively simple manner has been (re)opened. In this informal chat, I will illustrate the agreement that has been signed and how things should (hopefully) work for INAF researchers\/technologists
\nwho use supercomputing on all scales, from \u2018small\u2019 (up to 1 million core hours) to large (over 1 million core hours), and the new separate category of \u2018Flagship\u2019 projects. INAF will have 55 million computing hours to allocate and use: not a single one should go unused!

Today Astro Chiacchiere! is an informal meeting between the staff of the Cagliari Astronomical Observatory. <\/em>
\n(staff, postdocs, and students), which aims to discuss topics of a predominantly scientific nature,<\/em>
\ntechnological, informative about the Observatory’s activities. The meeting is usually held on Tuesday, at <\/em>
\n11:30 a.m., in the Auditorium of the Astronomical Observatory of Cagliari. For information and\/or contributions, please contact <\/em>
