The event is <strong>from November 5 to 10<\/strong> at the Exm\u00e0 Municipal Center and Monte Claro Park. <\/p>\n<p>This year, the theme of the event will be <strong>&#8220;Yesterday, today, and tomorrow: the challenges of science&#8221;<\/strong>, an exciting topic that highlights how science progresses through overcoming continuous challenges, whether theoretical, experimental, or technological.<\/p>\n<p>The Festival&#8217;s program is, as always, very rich: it consists of conferences, meetings, interactive workshops, and exhibitions. Six days packed with events featuring physics, astronomy, chemistry, natural sciences, and mathematics, with a wide variety of languages and activities to engage both young and old, schools and families, researchers and ordinary citizens. <\/p>\n<p>The INAF &#8211; Astronomical Observatory of Cagliari, for which the Festival is an unmissable event &#8211; has participated since the first edition in 2008 &#8211; is also taking part this year with several initiatives.<\/p>\n<p>Here is the list of our activities:<\/p>\n<p>1. <strong>On board a comet.<\/strong> Workshop for primary schools by Silvia Casu and Sabrina Milia. Scheduled for <strong>November 6 at 9:00 AM and November 10 at 11:30 AM<\/strong> at the ExM\u00e0 Educational Room. <\/p>\n<p>2. <strong>Galileo Galilei&#8217;s timeless suitcase.<\/strong> Workshop for primary schools by Alessia Zurru (Laboratorio Scienza), Silvia Casu, and Sabrina Milia. Scheduled for <strong>November 6 at 10:30 AM and November 10 at 10:00 AM<\/strong> at the ExM\u00e0 Educational Room. <\/p>\n<p>3. <strong>Three generations of astrophysics: past, present, and future of astrophysics in Sardinia.<\/strong> Seminar-debate by Sabrina Milia, Angelo Poma, and Andrea Possenti. Scheduled for <strong>November 7 at 9:00 AM<\/strong> at the Monte Claro Theater. <\/p>\n<p>4. <strong>Life beyond Earth: a guide to Astrobiology.<\/strong> Conference-debate by Silvia Casu. Scheduled for <strong>November 7 at 4:30 PM<\/strong> at the Multipurpose Room of Monte Claro Park and <strong>November 8 at 9:00 AM<\/strong> at the ExM\u00e0 Conference Room. <\/p>\n<p>5. <strong>Cosmic Adventurers.<\/strong> Seminar-debate by Sabrina Milia. Scheduled for <strong>November 9 at 9:00 AM<\/strong> at the ExM\u00e0 Conference Room. <\/p>\n<p>6. <strong>SRT: Science, Research, Technology.<\/strong> A public open day for schools and the general public at the Sardinia Radio Telescope site.
