For many years, the last Friday of September has been dedicated to the European Researchers’ Night, an event funded by the European Sharper project, of which INAF is a partner throughout Italy. In Cagliari, along with many others, outreach activities from our observatory are planned. <\/div>\n
\n

As usual, this year the last Friday of September will be THE day, or rather, THE night dedicated to research: the European Night of Researchers.<\/p>\n

Mark the date: September 29, 2023, will be the time for the true “Sharper Marathon” where in 13 cities across Italy (including three in Sardinia: Cagliari, Nuoro, and Sassari) the best of Italian research will be available to the public with a huge number of events, and numerous pre-events are also planned in the days leading up, starting this week.<\/p>\n

INAF will be present in many of the participating cities, and Cagliari will be no exception. During the evening of September 29, from 4 PM to 11 PM, there will be an INAF-OAC stand at the Public Gardens of Cagliari with numerous researchers to explain how we do science and answer public questions. <\/p>\n

Here’s a summary of the events and pre-events organized by the INAF-Osservatorio Astronomico di Cagliari.<\/p>\n
